Do you use the powder style ground bait to ground bait up your area?

Or do you use particle baits?

my depends is on the time of year. at this time of yeah i use a ground bait because of the atraction properties, but very low feed quality, whereas summer when the fish are more active i woud use a soft pellet mix, so it is pretty much a partical feed, which has a high feed content so gets the fish feeding and competeing for the food. therefore should hunt out your hookbait.!! well i hope anyway!

I generally loosely scatter boilies few and far between and usually no more than about 20 around a bait. I soak pellets too so I can mould them into a ball and throw them in. Havent ever had any success with sweetcorn so I dont have a lot of confidence in particles.

I tend to use ground bait when the fishing is slow to see if I can draw the fish in and get them feeding. If I catch within 20 minutes of starting I don't bother with ground bait but keep the loose feed going in.
