Barbel Fishing

I have never caught a Barbel before, infact I believe that is the only coarse species that I have never caught. I would like 2008 to be the year for me to catch one. I don't mind if it's a pound or 10 pounds it would be great to get one.
Is there anyone that could arrange a Barbel fishing trip ?
PS Please don't tell my pretties (Tench) that I want to go Barbel fishing

Maybe I should throw down a Barbel challenge for the South Devon Anglers 1-4-8 1 barbel between four anglers in 48 hours! I reckon you have more chance of completing the 28 in 28 
But as usual I'm up for the challenge.
