Favorite fish??

What is your favorite fish and why?

My favorite fish is the roach because it is easy to catch in big quantities and are good fun. Also can be found in most rivers and lakes. They can also grow to 4lb plus as proven by Ray Clarke (http://www.tackletek.co.uk/ray_clarke.htm) and i would rather catch one of them than a 10lb common any day of the week.

Please tell us all what you favorite fish is and why

I have to agree with Lamby on this, as a general coarse angler I love the Roach, it's solid silver body with bright red fins and it's appetite for my bait makes this my favourite coarse fish. It was a tight one between the roach and the crucian carp, but these don't take my offerings so readily!!

Whats new pussy cat whoa whoa whoa! Guess what my favourite fish is? Shame I aint caught one yet! I like big perch and carp aswell.

Any fish personally i like, but I don't know why, I'm a big fan of eels. If you've ever caught one over 2 pound you'll know what i mean. The fight you get off of them is second to none, and their life cycle fascinates me as well as the fact that it takes them 10 years to grow 1lbs in weight! The british record is just over 11lbs - can you imagine how old that eel is!

Eels, that is one you dont hear as a favorite fish. Dont get me wrong i would love to catch one! I think its the unhooking that puts everyone off.

Lamby dad caught two eels at Creedy last saturday about two or three pounds each!!

He went for a day session left at 4am-10pm. He caught the eels on a waggler baited with maggots. He then went on to catch seven carp all doubles.

And he says no he didnt go to catch eels lol!
