The recent stockings of skimmers, small carp and tench seem to have woken the resident fish and decent bags of sizeable fish are coming out. The prefered method seems to be the pole fishing expander pellets, corn and maggot (maggots get the fish feeding then change to pellet or corn for the larger fish). Get out and have a go, Wapperwell can be fished day ticket or Associate membership (and of course full membership).
