Setting Up the Newton Tackle & Gun Centre Shooting Club

I want to set up a Shooting Club for local guns incorporating target shooting and hunting. Mainly I want to do target shooting and have now joined Buckley Woodb Shooting Club based at Ashcombe. There are four of us here and my guess is DJ and Amber will also join in so there's our starter and of course we are already looking for our own plot to have our own range, again if anyone knows of such a plot please get in touch.

If this sounds interesting to you, we already have some experienced shooters and we are on a steep learning curve from our suppliers and we will have guns available for people to use to have a try and a range of guns from £40 with scopes from £10.

Interested? Put your name forward and come in and see us. The club is open to juniors BUT the following applies:

Under 18 can use an air weapon at a registered club facility
Under 15 can use an air weapon at a registered club facility under adult supervision
For the purposes of the Newton Tackle & Gun Centre Shooting Club they must be accompanied by their parent / guardian
As air weapons are dangerous in the wrong hands any fooling around or misuse of a weapon will result in the member being banned

We are not normally one for rules and regulations but when it comes to air weapons we will be very strict.
